Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family business within the Northern Italy's biggest industrial place. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, different kinds of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
The company started crane production in the year 1963. Eventually, the company pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru currently produces and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These equipments are designed and engineered for various uses and there are units available to cover all construction requirements.
FMgru has several really flexible lifting options for smaller companies working on private homes and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity and provide 22 to 40 meters jib range.
Other models comprise topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are extremely adaptable and user friendly. They are great for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes offer a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are regular tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are great for any construction or building project.
The Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes have 50 meter jibs and are outfitted with 12000 kg capacity. These cranes are specially designed to work in restricted sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are situated near each other.
