Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You can usually find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also known as pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are used to move materials and things around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump that could raise the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by a single individual.
Pallet trucks must be operated carefully in order to avoid loss of control while raising heavy loads. Equipment must be inspected before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Make certain that the handle turns smoothly. The pallet must be carefully stacked to ensure that nothing would fall off during transportation.
To be able to release air in the pump and lower the forks, squeeze the lever found on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks can then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be centered in order to guarantee equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not lift the pallet too high or the forklift can unbalance.
Pull on the handle and drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is dangerous to push the pallet in front of you as the momentum could cause it to lose control. Slowly take turns and don't attempt to stop suddenly. Stop gradually, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
