Our manufacturing line consists of hydraulic lifting devices, electro-hydraulic motor grabs, mechanical motor grabs, single rope radio control grabs and a variety of other types of specialized lifting machinery.

Up to date, Peiner has supplied over 75,000 units throughout the world. Our unique grabs handle a range of materials from iron ores, cement, fertilizers, coke, refuse and scrap, among a variety of other things. Our years of experience in the overall designing process and in making high quality products helps to allow our customers receive the proven technology their various applications need.

Within the US marketplace, SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. Various businesses such as Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Scrap Handling, Bulk Transfer Facilities as well as numerous other material handling facilities are now depending on our grabs and buckets to do their tasks.

Peiner's design philosophy has always revolved around the idea of making grabs which deal with the largest volume rather than grab dead weight. Usually, the bucket and grab lifting ratio's meaning that 60 percent of material is dead weight versus 40 percent grab dead weight. This translates into moving greater quantities of supplies faster. The wear and tear on the crane structure and its related components is less. By combining high quality materials and innovative design with manufacturing, the required weight ratio is obtained.

In order to suit the specific requirements of our customer's individual needs, grab sizes range from less than 1 cubic yard to more than fifty cubic yards. What's more, Peiner USA Inc. provides a complete service facility and spare parts facility for the units sold in the United States, along with the addition of brand new buckets and grabs.
